While in Oregon, we went to the beach for a couple of days. Our good friends the Irishs met us there and we got to spend the time together. It was so great to see them. We had especially missed this guy:
Charlie! It's been too long. He and Jake had a fun time wrestling with each other. 
We roasted hotdogs and marshmallows. The beach was too windy and misty to do a bonfire, so we settled with a BBQ roast.
Rockaway's twin rocks. I love the beach. The Oregon coast is a cold beach until about July or August and although we were all bundled up, it was amazing to be there.
Sydney was in heaven.
Part of the beach fun is to find jackets and boots that fit while we're in town. We brought stuff for the kids, but knew we would wing it from the community supply. Makes for good pictures!

i am pretty sure i've been to that beach and fell totally in love with oregon. is that beach anywhere near eugene? like within an hour? we went out there for olympic tryouts and i decided i wanted to move there. :)
