We encountered a few height issues throughout our days at Disney, so on our beach day, we went to the local Nike store and bought Syd and Jake some new kicks that would make them taller. Syd could ride every ride in both parks with her tall shoes on. Jake, it still depended on the measuring stick and the person measuring. I decided not to feel left out either and got some shoes that made my feet happy.
Apparently at Disneyland they have a ride that is to canoe around Tom Sawyer's Island. We hadn't ever seen it before, but it was open so we did it. That was the beauty of 4 days between the parks. We weren't rushed and took our time doing whatever we wanted.
Of course, the Toy Story Game is a favorite!
Jake's favorite ride was the swings. He and I enjoyed them several times.
Sydney's favorite was tower of terror and California screaming. She loves the roller coasters.
Our last night in the park we saw the world of color again and made it out to the plaza between the parks in time to see the Disneyland firework show. A perfect ending to an amazing vacation.
