We had a great Call family reunion in July with all of the siblings except Trevor. We missed him but he had just begun his residency and couldn't get away. All of us stayed in a house together and while it was crazy at times it was so fun! We were there for 5 days and are so grateful for Jeff and Natalie hosting us and making the reunion so successful.
This is Ruby and Ken Vermillion and they were our adopted grandparents growing up. Ken used to make popcorn on the stove for us when we would come over and Ruby always had a tin full of lemon cookies we could snack on. Since both of my grandfathers had passed away before I was born, Ken is the closest person I have had as a grandpa. He was always so sweet to us. I hadn't seen Ken and Ruby in over 15 years and they happened to be in town visiting their daughter - it was a huge treat for me to spend time with them.
We all went on a hike to Smith Rock one day. There were 3 groups of hikers, we hiked with the kids and got to see some fun wildlife and the kids had fun running around with their cousins.
