Sydney's first day of the first grade. She asked Jason to stay home a little longer so he could watch her get on the bus. She loves her dad.
Sydney and Payne have both grown up so much. It's a good thing they have each other.
One last look to make sure she sees that Jason is waving her goodbye. Sydney's first grade teacher is Mrs. Sperry and she seems very nice. Sydney has enjoyed school so far, now that it's been a whole 4 days. She took 'home lunch' for the first few days but then tried the school lunch on Friday. She loved school lunch even though she was a bit anxious about having to wait in the giant line to get it.
She also told me the other day that there are criminals and dead people behind the school's yard. I guess some boy in her class told her that. I reassured her that the teachers wouldn't let there be criminals and dead people behind the school. Her response was a whispered 'they don't know about them.' We all had a good laugh and she said she would have to check it out. The fun of the first grade.

funny how they get anxious about buying lunch. I tried with Kailey once and she ended up not eating because she didnt know what to do. she was like "can you pack me lunch everyday, i dont want to bu ever again" jordan wouldn't even try!
