The England crew all met up in Yellowstone along with Uncle Mont and Aunt Kris.
The following are pictures of our several days there. Our camera died the last day of the trip so here's what we got.
Tony, Syd, Jason and Nate.
A black bear and her cub. These two were so fun to watch. The baby bear was running and jumping around which was hilarious to see.
Some of Yellowstone's gorgeous scenery.
Grandma and Syd on a hike.
S'mores! Our tent in the background. The kids did a great job camping. It made me want to camp more often, especially before we have a baby to add to the mix.
This was our 'state farm' experience. Holy buffalo. Jake kept saying 'I can't breave'.
Seriously cool stuff everywhere. Jake loved all of the 'bolvanos' and geysers. Everything is now a 'bolcano'.
Brown bear and cub - these two weren't as exciting as the black bear and cub but we considered ourselves lucky that we saw 4 bears in 2 days.
An Elk. The day before we saw a HUGE elk but didn't catch it on camera.
The wind was a-blowin.
We hiked to an overlook above Old Faithful and saw it go off.
Yellowstone has a great Jr. Ranger program which Sydney worked on for a couple of days. After finishing it up then listening to a ranger's presentation at Old Faithful, she was awarded a Jr. Ranger badge. It was totally her thing and when we go back we will do it again. They have different programs for different ages. She was so proud. We were bummed that our battery died because the ceremony was pretty cute. She had to raise her hand to the square and make an oath and everything.
