Disneyland

We were on our way!  Pam made the kids Mickey and Minnie beanies.  They are so cute!  Sunday night we went to the plaza between the parks to watch the fireworks show.  Jake fell asleep on Jason's shoulders - his last day of being 3 years old and he needed his sleep to get ready for our first day in the park.

Jake's birthday!  He, Sydney and Pam went to breakfast with Minnie and Friends.  They said it was great.

Radiator Springs was amazing.  We had a lot of fun checking it all out.

It's like we walked right into the movie.

The first day was a blast... we saw many of the characters and Jake enjoyed a great birthday.

The hat he chose to buy was this Peter Pan one.  We had no idea he loved Peter Pan so much, but that's what life has been all about since we have been home.  Instead of baking cupcakes we bought some and celebrated.  Grandma and Grandpa got him the 'Jake and the Neverland Pirates' gear.

More fun!  January was the perfect time to go.  The lines weren't ever very long and the weather was cool enough to wear a sweatshirt during the day and add a jacket at night.  Space Mountain is my favorite - I feel like I am 15 again when we go on that one.

Syd's favorite is California Screaming and Jake's was the Little Mermaid/Tower of Terror.  He was terrified the first time we went on the Tower ride but kept wanting to go.  It was hilarious.

We are thinking of going this summer. We will have to get some tips from you, since you are obviously awesome and fun parents :)
