Our Anniversary is August 7th and this year we decided not to exchange gifts. So, what did Jason do? He surprised me with a trip to Hawaii for the two of us in September. It was a great get away and he did an amazing job planning the trip and keeping it a secret for 3 months; as did Tannen and Richard who were in on the whole thing and met up with us in LA to join us for this blissful vacation.
The first day we were there... ahh the beach. I love the beach.
This is one of the cool new places we discovered this trip. Glass beach, it's covered in tiny pieces of smooth glass. It was very cool to sift through and bring a bit of it home with us.
A better look at the glass.
Our Sunday drive up Wimea Canyon
Jason and Richard both tried their hand at paddleboarding in the pool at the resort.
One of many beautiful sunsets on the beach.
We were beach bums the entire week. It was a beautiful thing to sit and relax on the beach. Amazing. The silence was made possible by Pam and Kent watching our children while we were away. It was a trip of a lifetime.
This was our hike to see the Nepali coast, the only way you can get to it is by boat or hike. (or helicopter if you're that fancy)
The picture below is the beautiful Nepali coastline that we are so rudely standing in front of.
This is what we looked like all week.
And a little cheesy smooch :)
Shipreck beach... the cliff behind us is the one Jason and Richard enjoyed jumping off of several times while we were there.
The boys doing some more boogie boarding.
Our last day. Thank you Haymores and Jason for an amazing trip and great memories!
